ProClip Launches New Droid X Mount

ProClip has been around for a long time. The company offers mounting systems for phones that are specific to the phone and the vehicle you own. ProClip has pulled the wraps off a new mount for the Droid X Android smartphone that will work with any of those vehicle specific clips.

The new Droid X mount has tilt and swivel for improved viewing, a 12V power outlet for charging, and some of them can be hardwired for phone power. The holder is also adjustable to hold the Droid X while the phone is in a case or a skin.

That last bit is important. The ProClip I reviewed in the past for the iPhone required the iPhone not be in a case or skin to use and that was a pain in the rear.
