A company called Fluid Computer Systems has announced that it has a Windows 7 multi-touch screen tablet PC that will ship in time for Christmas. The company claims that this is the first tablet to ship in time for the holidays with Windows 7 and multitouch.
The company will have 1,000 units ready to ship in time for the holidays with pricing starting at $599. The machines are very similar with both having a 10.1-inch screen, 1GB of RAM, 160GB of storage, and the Windows 7 OS. Both machines have an Intel Atom processor inside.
Other common features include WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. The only difference in the Stream at $599 and the Motion at $699 is that the Motion has 3G. Only the Stream will land in time for Christmas, though both can be pre-ordered right now. The 3G packing Motion tablet will ship in February 2011.
