There are only five days to go until Apple unveils the Apple Tablet (aka iSlate, iPad or iTablet). For some reason it is already assumed for sure that the Apple Tablet would have a 3G Wireless connectivity option.
On Wednesday Verizon was rumored to get the Apple Tablet. Now FoxNews is at it again and says that their sources talk about both AT&T and Verizon providing service for the Apple Tablet.
To support both, the Apple Tablet would have to come in two versions as the 3G networks are different.
The FoxNews report also mentions that the carrier deals for the Apple Tablet are not finalized, which could mean we will not get pricing details for the Apple Tablet on January 27th.
Back to the assumption that the Apple Tablet supports cellular networks. The Apple Tablet could also very well just only connect via WiFi to the cloud. The in-depth report yesterday on the WSJ highlights that the Apple Tablet is designed to be used at home and in the classroom.
