Okay, so the MID market isn't exactly the healthiest section of the gadget industry to try and conquer. But hey, you've got to follow your dreams, and this clamshell pocket-PC from Dion Computers is certainly inspired. It is just a sexy prototype right now, but the specs and features sound very promising.
First off, there's the 4.8" WVGA capacitive LCD touchscreen with LED backlit and multitouch support. This thing has a full QWERTY keyboard and a 1.3 MP webcam / microphone, which means this thing can very easily act as a phone (convenience is another question altogether). The processor is a dual-chip Marvell PXA935 and NPX5209 mix, which gives us a minimum of 624 MHz and a cryptic maximum "1+ GHz" of power.
Then there's 2G GSM, 3G WCDMA, b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth, FM radio and TV reception. This thing has a GPS and stores up to 32 GB. There's a little LED display on the side that acts as a futuristic beeper, and an optical mouse on the top right of the keyboard. Alright Dion- you've driven up some interest. Now make with the review units and meaty leaks.
