Eye-Fi SD cards have been around for a long time now allowing people to send photos to the web as they are taken. Eye-Fi has announced a new service that makes it easy to share photos anywhere using one of its SD cards.
The service is Eye-Fi View and it allows the sharing of photos that were uploaded to the online service using one of the cards to be viewed from just about any connected device. Eye-Fi also announced a new email-sharing feature that allows people share images privately.
The email service supports full resolution images and sends links to the photos rather than trying to send the huge files that most cameras generate directly through email. Uploading content to Eye-Fi View taken in the last seven days is free and unlimited access is $4.99 monthly or $49.99 a year.
