Android 3.0 will be the launch-OS.

ViewSonic plans on having 10% of the total tablet market share in 2011, which would put them at some two million out of an estimated 45 million tablets sold. Apple is expected to hold 50% of projected 2011 tablet sales. ViewSonic has distribution networks all around the world and plans to launch products across a variety of price-points.

The company has an Android-2.2-based slate named the ViewPad 7 and a 10" Atom N450 PC that can dual-boot Windows 7 and Android 1.6. A 5" model was also outed. In addition, ViewSonic plans to launch a 9.7" Nvidia Tegra 2 tablet with Android 3.0 at the end of Q1 2011.
