Budget electronics maker Aiptek has developed a 3D HD camcorder that allows you to create your own 3D videos.
The Aiptek 3D-HD i2 camcorder is available for pre-order on $199.99 on Amazon (Via 3DDisplayInfo) and ships August 15th.
The Aiptek 3D has two 5MP cameras inside, which record HD video at 720p in 2D.
Specification details are still sparse. Australian CNET has seen the Aiptek 3D at the Computex 2010 and the demo 3D videos have not impressed.
The FujiFilm Real 3D camera also got to deal with criticism. Most likely it is too early for us consumers to produce good quality 3D footage. Let's first have the Hollywood Studios supply us with 3D movies for our living room.
If you like to be on the forefront of things and are into toying around with new technologies the Aiptek 3D camcorder is a good buy because of the low price. More details on Amazon.
