Apple released a new build of Mac OS X 10.6.5 to developers on Halloween weekend. This build follows a release last Monday. According to MacRumors Apple looks like to be doing daily builds of the next OS X Update. It is likely that Apple releases OS X 10.6.5 in November along with the iOS 4.2 update. Apparentely Apple has giving iOS developers access to the OS X 10.6.5 builds, which support the assumption that OS X 10.6.5 is necessary to support some of iOS 4.2 features on a Mac.
The new AirPlay and AirPrint features in iOS 4.2 most likely require updates in OS X to let the Macs be part of these new features. iOS 4.2 for the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch is supposed to arrive in November according to Apple. When exactely is not known.
