Nintendo has already announced the red Wii console bundle featuring the new Wii Remote Plus controller. Now Nintendo is launching also new black and white Wii console packages that feature the new Wii Remote Plus and more value for the $199.99. Nintendo has said not to cut the price of the Wii this Holiday season. Instead they are putting more value in the basic Wii console packages.
The new Wii console comes with two games instead of one like in the previous releases. The new 2010 Wii console package comes with Wii Sports Resort and Wii Sports. The Wii Sports Resort game is a $50 value, that is why there is a $50 Bonus sticker on the image.
Amazon is offering the white Wii with Wii Sports Resort for $199.99 for pre-order already. The new white Wii console bundle ships on November 14th. The black Wii with Wii Sports Resort is also available for pre-order for $199.99 on Amazon and will already ship November 7th.
The Limited Edition red Wii console is also still available for pre-order and ships also on November 7th.
The new Wii Remote Plus is integrating the Wii MotionPlus accessory, which is a nice advancement. The additional game increases the value of the Wii console purchase, but I rather would have liked to see a more interesting game than Wii Sports Resort added. In the red Wii bundle you actually get the Super Mario Bros. game. If you do not mind the red color, the limited edition red Wii console is actually the more interesting choice.
