Retailer getting better in controlling their Black Friday Sale Circulars?

We have moved into November today and there have been already a handful of Black Friday 2010 ads leaked in the last days, but none of them is from the most sought-after Black Friday retailers. GottaDeal just posted that they have got their hands on at least one big Black Friday ads by this time in the last years.

Retailers might have improved their security around producing their Black Friday circulars. If retailers manage to keep their Black Friday ads under wraps in the next three weeks is rather unlikely given past experience. Last year the Black Friday sites had most Black Friday ads earlier than the official release. Several toy catalogs from big retailers like Target have also already leaked a couple days before the official release.

As more retailers start early Black Friday sales a leaked Black Friday Ad is potentially a problem. If products get advertised in early Black Friday sales events at higher prices than on Black Friday and consumers already know about it, they will not buy. Maybe this new trend is the reason that the big Black Friday ads have not leaked yet.
Walmart announced their first early Black Friday Electronics sales event for this weekend. The deals are red hot.

Take for instance NewEgg they announced today Black November. Black November is basically a month long Black Friday Sale. We stay alert and report about the latest Black Friday deals and ads in our Black Friday Hub.
