Target will carry the iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS starting November 7. Target will offer the Apple iPhone in 846 stores across the nation enhancing the retail footprint of the iPhone yet again.
"At Target we continue to offer our guests the best in electronics so we’re happy to add iPhone to our Target Mobile offerings," said Mark Schindele, senior vice president, merchandising, Target. "With expert support from Target Mobile specialists and in-store activation, our guests will be able to leave the store with a new, working iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4 in-hand."
For many consumers it is still very important to see and touch a product before they buy it. The more shelf space a product gets the more it sells. You can anytime buy the iPhone online at the Apple Store or AT&T.
Target also says to offer a trade-in program for used cell phones, MP3 players, video games and more for credit towards any purchase at Target.
The retailer started to carry the Apple iPad last month. Via Target.
