Apple products are again the most sought-after items this holiday season. Apple products are perceived as great holiday gifts and you almost never can go wrong gifting an Apple product. In contrast to most other consumer electronics products Apple is holding resellers on a tight leash. On the one hand this guarantees stable prices and long lasting value of your purchase. Additionally it almost does not matter where you buy an iPod or Mac computer. For deal seekers this situation is very frustrating. But there is hope.

During the Black Friday sales month you actually can find Apple deals that can save you real money. Just do not expect too much from the actual Apple Black Friday Sales event in the Apple Store. The deals have been rather limited the last couple of years. See for instance the Apple Black Friday 2009 deals. Other Apple retailers offer already now better deals on Apple gadgets.

You will not see huge discounts on Apple products, although they will be higher than throughout the year in the coming weeks. Best Buy will offer a MacBook Pro with $125 gift card on Black Friday.

Mac computers will also be offered most likely with gift cards again. Last Black Friday, Best Buy offered the MacBook bundled with a free $150 gift card. Some of the best Apple deals will appear before the actual Black Friday. Update: Best Buy is offering now the MackBook and several MacBook Pro laptops with free up to $150 Gift Cards. The deals are actually better right now!

About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
