In midnight launch events across the country gamers can pickup the new motion gaming experience called Kinect. Kinect recognizes you. With just a wave of the hand or a voice command, Kinect comes to life, bringing games, movies, TV, music, exercise, dancing and sports to your fingertips. The Kinect premise sounds great and it demos really well. Watch the new behind the scenes video from Microsoft below to get the idea. Microsoft is convinced it will take on and actually have a bigger launch than the Nintendo Wii. Not everybody shares this enthusiasm about Kinect, but I believe that it will be huge hit.
The launch of Kinect will be accompanied by 17 games especially built for the platform, four of which were developed in-house at Microsoft.
If you already own a Xbox 360 you need the Kinect Sensor that is sold as a bundle with Kinect Adventures! game for $149.99. As reported Walmart offers a $199 Kinect Sensor bundle with an additional game online.
If you are new to the Xbox 360 than you can buy either the $299.99 4GB Xbox 360 with Kinect bundle or the $399.99 250GB Xbox 360 with Kinect Bundle.
