Available only on Android

The definitive thing about Black Friday is that it's extremely difficult to keep track of all the great deals out there. A new app, available on Android, tries to take a bit of that hassle out of the equation.

Black Flyday will be available on the Android Market tomorrow. By touching a single button on the app, users will get to see all the hottest deals within a certain radius of their current location.

Enabled with GPS, and a real-time social bulletin board, it is designed to keep all deal-conscious consumers connected with the latest deals and information available.

Of course, it also integrates Facebook, allowing users to post deal news to their Wall and let everyone see what hot products they're eyeing.

Oh, and one more thing - it even incorporates a "deal scroller," a ticker-like display that shows all the latest bulletin postings as soon as they're posted.

The app comes from developer Iconosys, which has this to say about the app's influence on Black Friday shopping: "The bottom line is that people love deals.  Wouldn’t it be great if we used social networking to keep our friends in the know about our found Black Friday deals? I want a big screen for $200.  I want king-size 1000 count Egyptian cotton sheets for $19. I want a front loading washer and dryer for $499 for the pair.  My friends will like some of these too, so how do I tell them all at the same time?"

The app is available for more than just Black Friday. Iconosys wants users to continue to connect with it year-round to share deals beyond the huge shopping holiday.

Black Flyday is a free download, and will remain free all the way through the end of Black Friday. However, after that it will become a premium app and users will have to pay $10 to continue using it.

Anything that can make Black Friday a more socially-connected experience is great news for consumers and retailers alike, so we wish the Black Flyday app all the best.
