We reported back in August about a rumor that Motorola is supposed to be first with an Android 3.0 tablet. Today Mobile-Review, via BGR, tweets that Google has chosen the Motorola Motopad as first Android 3.0 tablet. The MotoPAd would have a 7-inch screen. In our August mention the first Android 3.0 tablet from Motorola still was a 10.1-inch model.
Android 3.0 is supposed to be first Android OS version that is optimized for tablet use. When Android 3.0 will be released is still unclear. Right now Android 2.3 aka Gingerbread is more in the news as a release is imminent.
Also still to come is Google's Chrome OS. To avoid to much confusion, Google Chrome OS will be released on netbooks and not on tablets yet.
