Walmart just announced a new early Black Friday sale starting Wednesday, Nov. 17th. From Wednesday, Nov. 17th – Thursday, Nov. 25th, Walmart Stores that sell contract wireless phones will offer a $100 Walmart Gift Card with the purchase of nearly 40 smartphones from AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon. This offer is only in stores, not online.
It sounds like what I predicted has happened: You get cash back (or gift cards) with your Android, BlackBerry or Windows smartphone purchase this Black Friday season. And indeed on some of the 40 smartphones this is really true. The new Verizon LG Vortex Android 2.2 phone for instance sells for $0.97 and with the free $100 gift card you end up with a new phone and $99.03 that you can spend at Walmart.
Not all Walmart phone deals are that good. The BlackBerry Torch sells for $98.88. With the gift card you get $1.12. On Amazon in their current AT&T phone sale the Torch sells for a Penny. I would rather take the Penny deal than have to deal with a gift card.
Below you will find a list of the Walmart phone deals that really give you cashback and are beating other stores.
Walmart cashback (as gift card) Deals:
The smartphones with the $100 gift card deal just sound good, but better deals can be found listed below.
No "Cashback" Walmart Phone deals:
The above phones can be found cheaper or for a Penny on Amazon or other online phone retailers.
