The Beatles songs have just appeared on the Apple iTunes store a couple of minutes before Apple is said to announce it. You can now after years of controversy, buy Beatles songs and albums on iTunes.
The Beatles Box Set that got released last year is selling for $149. On Amazon the Beatles Box Set sells for $154.99 on CDs.
iTunes carries all of the studio albums and collections of The Beatles. Each Beatles album comes with iTunes LP, featuring lyrics, photos and more.
As reported yesterday, the teaser on the Apple site was pretty mysterious. It took almost all day until the secret got solved.
Update:
The Apple homepage has update and now shows a photo of the Beatles. Clicking on the photos reveals a min-site with Beatles background information and videos. Apple makes a big deal out of the Beatles iTunes launch and will air a brand new TV ad campaign to promote it.
