Toy is tons of fun for little kids

The Imaginext Bigfoot the Monster measures 6.5" L x 14.5" W x 12.3" H. He gets power from a rechargeable 7.2V NiMH battery and the remote control gets a pair of AA batteries. Kids can control what the monster does via the remote control and can make the thing walk, talk, play, and get mad. The MSRP for the Imaginext Bigfoot the Monster is $90.

The Imaginext Bigfoot the Monster is a really cool toy. The first time my 6-year-old daughter saw this thing we were in Target and they had it banging on a plastic enclosure on display. She went bonkers for the thing and thought it would be hilarious if she had it because she could hide it behind doors and make it "scare people." Out of all the things she has wanted to get this is the toy she has talked about the most and has asked at least 100 times for Santa to bring her "that monster thing."

To say she was excited when this box showed up is an understatement. The Imaginext Bigfoot the Monster is cool and the remote control is shaped like a foot and has big buttons that are easy for kids to press. Using the remote the kids can make the Imaginext Bigfoot the Monster throw a ball, do flips, be happy sad, or mad and more. The remote is wireless and has a range long enough that my daughter spent a long time hiding around corners making it jump out at me growling and doing flips.

The rechargeable battery lasts a long while; we played with this thing at least an hour and still had power to go. As simple as the remote is I think that kids even smaller than three will get a kick out of the toy. Smaller kids may need some help to work the controller though. The controller uses pictures rather than words that are easy to understand so little ones that can’t read can control it without any problems.

My daughters favorite part about the Imaginext Bigfoot the Monster is when it would burp, she would roll with laughter. This is a very fun toy that includes the rechargeable battery pack and the only thing you need to add is a couple AA batteries for the controller.

The only downside to this thing from a parent's standpoint is that your kid will play with it for a long time. After an hour or so, a growling, burping Bigfoot monster gets to be a bit annoying. Still, it's easy enough to send little ones outside to play with the Imaginext Bigfoot the Monster. It will work on any hard surface like tile, concrete or carpet. I wouldn't put the thing in grass and don’t get it wet.

  • Tons of fun
  • Wireless remote is easy to use
  • Includes rechargeable battery

  • Can get annoying for parents and siblings after a while

Annoying noises aside, the Imaginext Bigfoot the Monster is a very cool toy that boys and girls will love to find under the Christmas tree. It's easy to use and little ones can work the toy with minimal assistance.
