Netbook deals are sparse this Black Friday sales season. The netbook hype has died down quite a bit compared to last year. Today though two sub-$200 netbook deals appeared. Earlier today Target unveiled a $179.99 Acer Aspire AOD255-2331 netbook in their 4-Day Target Pre Black Friday sale. The Target netbook deal is only availalble in-stores. Best Buy has just started to offer a similar netbook from Gateway at the same low $179.99 price.
The only problem if it is one for you is that both of these bargain netbooks come with Windows XP and not with Windows 7.
Features of the Acer Aspire AOD255-2331 offered at Target stores include Intel N450, 10.1-inch screen, 1GB RAM, 160GB RAM, 4 hour battery and webcam. Find a local Target store on Target.com.
Features of the Gateway LT2514u include Intel Atom N450, 10.1-inch display, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, 3-cell battery and webcam.
Get the Gateway LT2514u now for $179.99 on BestBuy.com.
Best Buy will actually offer the lowest priced netbook in the Best Buy Black Friday Sale. The $149.99 Compaq Netbook will actually come with Windows 7. Good luck in scoring this hot doorbuster deal on Black Friday.
