Black Friday Netbook deals are sparse this Black Friday sales season. The netbook hype has died down quite a bit compared to last year. Best Buy comes though to the rescue with an unmatched netbook Black Friday deal.

The Compaq CQ10-405DX 10.1-inch netbook with Intel Atom CPU (still unspecified) and Windows 7 Starter will go on sale for only $149.99. Now this is what I call a netbook price. The important point here is that you get a Windows 7 netbook for $149.99 and not one of the advertised Windows XP bargain netbooks from last year.

Features of the Compaq CQ10-405DX Netbook include 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, webcam and over 4 hours battery life.

Best Buy also offers an upgraded version that gets you 250GB HDD for $199.

The $149.99 Compaq netbook in the Best Buy Black Friday sale has earned the title of Best Black Friday Netbook Deal.

You can be sure that this netbook deal will be hard to get at Best Buy stores. Best Buy stores will open at 5am on Black Friday. Tickets are handed out to people in line starting up to two hours before. Better get up early to score this netbook deal. It is not clear yet if you can get it also online during Thanksgiving night. We will keep an eye on it.
