Walmart offers the 42-inch RCA 42PA30RQ 720p Plasma 600Hz Plasma HDTV for $399 now in their early Black Friday online sales. Features of the RCA 42PA30RQ include 1024x768px resolution, built-in ATSC digital/NTSC analog tuner, 500cd/m2 brightness, 10:000:1 contrast ratio and 3 HDMI inputs.
A HD Ready Plasma for under $400 is not that easy to find. Amazon best offer is the LG 42PK350 720p Plasma HDTV on sale for $499.99.
Walmart will offer a 50-inch 720p Plasma HDTV on Black Friday for $498 in case you want a bigger screen.
If 42-inch is big enough for you do not require full HD for Blu-ray or a PS3 than this RCA TV is an awesome TV deal that you will get beaten on Black Friday. Kmart and Sears will offer a 42-inch Zenith Z42PJ40 Plasma for the same price on Black Friday.
