Well, that was prompt. Rumors surfaced this morning that the Nexus Two would be coming later this year from Motorola. We've been hearing rumors about a Motorola made Google phone for a while now, but this one was followed very quickly by confirmation. Unwired View reports that Sanjay Jha, CEO of Motorola, has confirmed that his company is developing a Google phone.

It will be one of the 20-30 Android handsets that Moto has planned for launch over the course of this year. This new Motorola/Google phone is expected to be sold directly to customers from the Google website. No further details were confirmed, but there has been a great deal of speculation that the Nexus Two will be the Motorola Shadow.
