The Amazon Kindle eBook reader is still Amazon's bestselling, most-wished-for and most-gifted product. Amazon is showing signs that the low priced Kindle Wi-Fi supply is not keeping up with demand. The $139 Kindle has a shipping deal of 3 to 5 days and Amazon imposes limit of 5 Kindles per customer. If you order now you still get the Kindle by December 24th with standard shipping, but that might soon change.
Another sign that Amazon is running out of the Kindle Wi-Fi is an email they just sent out that advertises the Kindle as #1 bestselling product on Amazon. The email only features though the more expensive Kindle 3G + Wi-Fi. The $189 Kindle is still shipping right away, but also has a 5 Kindle per customer limit.
Shop for Kindle now on Amazon before they are out of stock. It happened several times before that the Kindle was sold out for Christmas.
Update:
It has happend. Kindle Wi-Fi is sold out for Christmas delivery.
