If you use a DSLR camera, you know that trying to take a photo with your camera without a tripod can be a challenge in low light situations. I know I can never get a shot without blur if I have to use anything other than a fast shutter speed.
Tiffen is the company that makes all sorts of pro level tripods and other gear like the Steadycam mounts that are used in movies and TV production. The company is set to show off a new lightweight tripod at CES 2011 called the Fusion. The Fusion tripod has a fluid system that is designed specifically for DSLR users shooting video.
The fluid head allows for smooth panning and video shooting and can hold a camera up to eight pounds. It has calibrations for pan and tilt along with lots of other things. The legs of the fusion tripod can extend to a maximum height of 61-inches and the folded length is 25-inches. The legs feature lever locks and the tripod is only $59.95.
