The tablet market is going to explode next year and tablets will be at CES 2011 in force. The tablet-focused version of Android is expected early next year and will bring with it an explosion of Android tablets and more tablets running Windows will be landing as well.
IN Media has announced its new Windows 7 tablet that runs the full OS and is compatible with all the apps that you like to run on your PC in the home or office. This machine sounds a lot like a netbook with the keyboard hacked off and a touchscreen installed. The rig runs a 1.66GHz Atom processor for instance just like tons of netbooks on the market.
It stores to a big 160GB HDD and has HDMI out. The screen is a 10-inch touchscreen and supports HD. It also has a front facing camera and can be used as an eReader as well. The tablet will ship in Q1 2011 for $399.
