CES 2011: Audience to Debut ClairAudient The One Loudspeaker

Home theater gear is always huge at CES and there are dedicated mini shows in some of hotels around the city that only have home theater gear and offerings at the exact time CES is underway. One of those little shows that specialize in home theater gear is called T.H.E. show and it is in the Flamingo Las Vegas conference room the same days as CES.

A company called Audience will debut its ClairAudient The ONE single-driver loud speaker at the show along with other gear like its modified Oppo BDP-83SE Blu-ray player. The special speaker is an A3-S full-range crossover free driver speaker that has a passive radiator. The driver is a high-power 12mm excursion low distortion range and the design eliminates the need for a subwoofer for full sound.

The speaker can be had in a variety of wood finishes and is designed engineered and crafted by hand in the US. The pricing for the speaker and the modified Blu-ray paler that has a new analog section and power supply to make it a high-end ultimate performance source will be announced later.
