No washing before you wash!

One thing that has always really struck me a stupid is that with most dishwashers you have to wash the dishes before you can actually wash them in the dishwasher. That seems to defeat the point of having a dishwasher to me.

LG has unveiled a cool new dishwasher at CES this week that has some really cool features, the biggest of which is steam generation system that means you don't have to pre-wash before you toss stuff into the washer. The LG TrueSteam Dishwasher has a TrueSteam generator inside to create powerful steam that will melt goo right off your dishes.

LG claims it will even remove lipstick and will eliminate the need to pre-wash. The device is also quiet producing only 42dBA of sound in use. All of the controls for the dishwasher are on the front of the unit with a Glass Touch LCD. Pricing and availability on the new dishwasher are unannounced.
