Another of the new 3D TVs that Sony showed off at CES 2011 was the HX820 series. The line includes the 55-inch KDL-55HX820 and the 46-inch KDL-46HX820. The sets share the same features with the difference being screen size.
The sets have full HD 1080p image with Dynamic Edge LED backlighting. The set also has a monolithic design with OptiContrast Panel technoglyo. 802.11n WiFi is integrated into the sets for accessing online video streaming services.
Both of the TVs also used the X-Reality Pro Engine and feature MotionFlow XR480 both designed to make the image smoother and look better in fast action scenes. Both screen sizes in the series will land in May with pricing unannounced at this time.
