Earlier this week we reported that Apple and Rupert Murdoch would launch the first iPad newspaper dubbed The Daily on Jan 19. AllThingsD reports now that Apple and News Corp. have pushed back the launch of The Daily. Apple is apparently not ready with the subscription feature implementation.
The delay is supposed in the range of weeks. The new iTunes magazine subscription feature will allow to have automatic billing of subscriptions and automatic push downloads to the iPad.
As said before with the subscription feature in place and an ample offering for magazine from around the world the iPad is going to enter my life.
I could now imagine that Apple is unveiling The Daily with the announcement of the new iPad 2. Rumors point to an iPad announcement in February and a sales launch in early April.

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
