The car guys and gals at Chevy are offering up some stats on their sales for 2010. According to the carmaker, it sold a car every 7.4 seconds in 2010. That works out to 4.26 million vehicles sold in 130 countries for the year.
Chevy sold 1.14 million of those vehicles in Q4 2010. "Chevrolet's dedication to compelling designs, quality, durability and great value is a winning formula that resonates with consumers around the world," said Joel Ewanick, GM global chief marketing officer. "We will continue to listen to our customers and do our utmost to deliver what it takes to bring them into the Chevrolet family."
Chevy sold over 361K vehicles in October, over 368k in November, and over 418k in December 2010. The five best selling vehicles for Chevy in 2010 were the Silverado truck, Cruze compact, Aveo small car, Malibu midsize, and the Impala full-size.
