Puget Systems unveiled a new line of silent PCs last year that made little noise despite having some really nice hardware inside. The company has added to the Serenity line with a couple of new machines. The new machines include the Serenity Home Theater and the Serenity Mini SFF PC.
The Serenity Home Theater is a small HTPC machine that is designed to look like a home theater component. The machine can have up to 8TB of internal storage and has options for a TV tuner, remote control, handheld keyboard, and a handheld mouse. The machine is expected to have support for quad channel HD cable cards in the coming months as well.
The mini is a small form factor machine that has the same silent tech inside that the larger machines in the series offer. The machine has a passively cooled power supply as well. All of the machines promise very quiet operation with the largest SPCR Edition producing only 11dBA of sound at idle.
