Active Media Products Unveils New SaberTooth ZF SSDs

Active Media Products has announced a new line of SSDs that are upgrade drives for the small form factor computers like the MacBook Air and others that use 1.8-inch storage devices. The new SSDs from AMP are the SaberTooth ZF Turbo ZIF SSD family.

The little 1.8-inch SSDs use the 40-pin ZIF connector and PATA interface to connect to small machines. The SSDs use MLC NAND inside and have special power saving designs to extend battery life. The SSDs also have ECC and bad bit management.

The SSDs ship with a screwdriver and installation guide. They come in 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB capacities. Pricing for the SSDs is $129.95, $189.95, and $349.95 from lowest to highest capacity.
