The rumors of Roseanne staring in the new Snickers Super Bowl Ad are true. Mars just announced the details of the Snickers Super Bowl 2011 Ad. It will be a continuation of the "You're Not You When You're Hungry" campaign. Last year Betty White made the Snickers Super Bowl ad number one on the USA Today Ad Meter.
Update:
Watch the new 2011 Snickers Super Bowl Commercial now.
The new Snickers Super Bowl 2011 ad will have besides Roseanne Barr, comedian and actor Richard Lewis. Roseanne Barr is known world-wide for the 80s sitcom Roseanne. Richard Lewis appeared in tons of movies and TV series.
The spot is titled Logging. There are no details on the plot available. The new commercial also includes a series of print and digital advertisements featuring Lewis and Barr. Lewis will also play a starring role in a bonus interactive experience on the SNICKERS YouTube page that will launch in concert with the television ad during the Super Bowl.
I think we will be in for a treat. The concept of the ad is strong enough to have another go around with new actors and story.
Update:
2011 Snickers Super Bowl Ad teaser published.
Just like last year, I4U News will be featuring again the Super Bowl for Geeks Guide. Of course the Super Bowl 2011 for Geeks Guide will be all about the Super Bowl Commercials and not the big game. The Super Bowl XLV will take place in the Dallas Cowboys stadium on February 6th 2011.
