We have talked about the Pixel Qi screen before. This screen has a backlight that can be turned off to make it look like an e-ink screen for readability in bright light or outdoors. Indoors where the backlight is needed, it looks like your typical notebook screen.
The Clover SunBook has landed and it is one of the first netbooks to use the Pixel Qi screen. The screen is 10-inches and the tech in the unit makes the netbook expensive. The SunBook will set you back $795.
Other than the screen, the netbook is a common offering. The Pixel Qi screen is a 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 resolution unit. It has a 1.66GHz Atom N450 CPU, 1GB of RAM, and a 250GB HDD. The OS is Windows 7 Starter and it can be fitted with 3G or 4G modems and optional batteries good for up to 12 hours of run time.
