Groundhog's Day will be here before you know it with people wanting out for the rodent to see his shadow or not. Legend has it that if the groundhog sees his shadow we get more winter and if no shadow is seen, we get an early spring.
If you feel the need to keep up with the most famous of all groundhogs, Punxsutawney Phil, he has a new app. Each year Phil is the subject of a lot of attention in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. A new app for Android device is available right now on the Android market at no charge.
The app is Punxsutawney Phil's Smartphone App and it has a countdown clock to show when Groundhogs Day rolls around. You can send a pal some early spring or a shadow too. The app can be downloaded via GetJar as well as the Android Market.

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
