HomeAway just launched cool interactive versions of their Super Bowl ad.

Yesterday we reported that HomeAway has published already their Super Bowl Ad for 2011. The HomeAway Super Bowl ad for 2011 shows the bad sides of hotel rooms in a fast paced ad that has a drastic joke in the middle that will raise some eyebrows. You can watch the HomeAway Super Bowl commercial here.

HomeAway has now published two fun interactive versions of the Super Bowl Ad. In one extended version you can choose between three actions that will happen to the test baby. You can choose between smash, smush (default) and catch.

In the other version of the interactive ad you can upload your own photo that will be skinned onto the test baby's face. The uploaded face is rendered three-dimensionally and provides three distinct and surprising options, each that are easy to share via email, Facebook and Twitter.

“We’ve taken personalization to a whole new level with this campaign,” says Sharples. “Travelers can have fun starring in the commercial, and vacation rental owners can feature their properties in the ad to send to friends, past guests and potential renters as a fun way to showcase their homes.”

The HomeAway interactive Super Bowl ads are the best online companion apps I have seen so far this year for the Super Bowl. Try them on the HomeAway Detourism site.

Just like last year, I4U News will be featuring again the Super Bowl for Geeks Guide. Of course the Super Bowl 2011 for Geeks Guide will be all about the Super Bowl Commercials and not the big game. The Super Bowl XLV will take place in the Dallas Cowboys stadium on February 6th 2011.
