OCZ has announced a new line of computer power supplies in its maximum performance range. The new series is the ZX line and includes three models offering 1250W, 1000W, and 850W power ratings. All of the PSUs have a modular design.
The modular design means that you only have to use the cables that you need for your machine to reduce clutter and to improve airflow inside the chassis. The ZX series has 92% efficient to meet the needs of machines with lots of power inside and supports three video card systems.
Cooling for the PSUs is done via a 140mm ball bearing fan that is quiet. The PSU is fully modular so not only can you choose the peripheral cables you use, but the connection to the mainboard is modular too. The ZX series use a single 12V rail and a standard ATX device to work with most cases.
