Not too long ago Porsche started to unveil its special Black Edition 911 cars for 2012 year model. The sports car maker has now pulled the wraps off a sweet new Porsche Boxster Black Edition today. The car is officially called the 2012 Boxster S Black Edition and gets an extra 10hp and more features compared to the standard Boxster S.
The car has a mid-engine design and comes in black, with a black top, and a black interior. The wheels are even painted black. Inside the car, aluminum and stainless steel are used as accent colors. The car has black strips on the dash and has a 6-speed manual or an optional 7-speed double clutch transmission.
Even the instrument dials are black on this car. Other features include bi-xenon headlights with cornering function, wind deflector, navigation, BOSE surround sound, and satellite radio. The 3.4L 6-cylinder engine has 320hp and can hit 60mph in 4.8 seconds and an optional sport Chrono package adds launch control and gets the 0-60 time down to 4.6 seconds. The car starts at $65,200.
