So far Chrysler has not released any information about their Super Bowl commercial. Earlier today we reported that Eminem appears in the Chrysler Super Bowl 2011 commercial. Now The Detroit News has published a report that has statements from the Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne about the Chrysler Super Bowl plans. The Chrysler Super Bowl commercial will be 120 seconds long and run in the third quarter of the the Super Bowl.
Update:
Watch the great Chrysler Super Bowl Commercial now online. The two minute commercial is an awesome piece of advertising.
Given the cost of a 30 second Super Bowl spot of about $3 million, Chrysler is putting down about $12 million for this ad. It is possibly the longest 2011 Super Bowl commercial. GM is spreading their Super Bowl ad dollars across five commercials that promote different cars. A two minute Super Bowl commercial is a bold statement.
Sergio Marchionne is tight lipped about the content of the Chrysler Super Bowl ad. Looks like they will keep it a secret until it airs in the 3rd Quarter on Sunday. Chrysler was the only American car maker that ran a Super Bowl commercial last year.
Just like last year, I4U News will again be featuring the Super Bowl for Geeks Guide. Of course the Super Bowl 2011 for Geeks Guide will be all about the Super Bowl Commercials and not the big game. Watch the first 2011 Super Bowl Ads now.
The Super Bowl XLV will take place in the Dallas Cowboys stadium on February 6th 2011.
