The Motorola Super Bowl commercial will promote the new Motorola Xoom Android 3.0 Tablet. A couple days ago Motorola released a companion video that is referencing Apple's iconic Super Bowl ad from 1984 that unveiled the Macintosh computer. Motorola is putting Apple in the place of Microsoft. Today Apple dominates the tablet market with the iPad. The Motorola Super Bowl ad teaser itself is just a slide show of Xoom feature highlights with some dramatic music score.
Motorola is actually really taking the 1984 George Orwell theme to the Xoom Super Bowl commercial. The first 15 seconds of the Motorola Super Bowl ad have been published and these first seconds reveal that much.
Everybody is the same, besides the one dude using an Motorola Xoom tablet. If the Motorola Xoom Super Bowl ad turns out great is not clear yet. The first seconds are ho-hum. I also really do not think that many Super Bowl viewers know about the iconic 1984 Apple Super Bowl ad that is referenced by Motorola here.
Watch the Motorola Super Bowl Commercial now online below to judge for yourself. Last year Motorola had Megan Fox take a bath, now that was great and everybody understood it.
Just like last year, I4U News will be featuring again the Super Bowl for Geeks Guide. Of course the Super Bowl 2011 for Geeks Guide will be all about the Super Bowl Commercials and not the big game. Watch the first 2011 Super Bowl Ads now.
The Super Bowl XLV will take place in the Dallas Cowboys stadium on February 6th 2011.
