Verizon to sell 2 million iPhones at Launch?

The Verizon iPhone is selling like no other phone on Verizon ever before. The pre-sale for existing customers beat the launch day sales record of Verizon in the first 2 hours. Analysts estimate that Verizon already pre-sold 100,000 iPhones to existing customers.

Apple Insider reports that analysts are predicting that Apple has prepared 2 million Verizon iPhone for the launch in next week. The open sale of the Verizon iPhone launches online on Feb. 9 3:01am. The Verizon iPhone will be in-stores on Feb. 10 starting 7am.

Verizon to sell 2 million iPhones at launch would be extremely stunning. The AT&T launch of the iPhone 4 had only 600,000.

If this really happens I still wonder who will loose most. AT&T or Google's Android phones. Something has to give if millions of consumers jump on the Verizon iPhone. Are most of these users dropping their Android phone or switching from AT&T to Verizon?
