The Super Bowl 2011 takes place tomorrow. There will be one thing missing in the Big Game. There will be no cheerleaders on the sidelines. Why? The Steelers and the Green Bay Packers do not have Cheerleader squads. The NY Times points out that this is the first Super Bowl in 40 years that does not have Cheerleaders.
The Dallas Cowboys would have a hot Cheerleader squad, but they will not be cheering in the Dallas Cowboys Stadium. Cheerleaders are definitely part of Football, but apparently not all NFL teams have a Cheerleader squad. The photo shows the current Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader squad.
Just like last year, I4UNews will be featuring again the Super Bowl for Geeks Guide. Of course the Super Bowl 2011 for Geeks Guide will be all about the Super Bowl Commercials and not the big game.
The Super Bowl XLV will take place in the Dallas Cowboys stadium on Sunday, Feb. 6th 2011. For a list of the current official and rumored Super Bowl ads for 2011 check out our Super Bowl Ads 2011 Guide.

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
