Infiniti announced late last week that the cool 2010 M Hybrid sedan had been given an EPA rating for fuel efficiency of 32mpg on the highway. The M is the first production hybrid performance luxury sedan from Infiniti. The 2010 Infiniti M35h will go on sale this spring.
The car has 350hp from the V6 engine and still manages to get 32mpg on the highway. It has 27mpg efficiency in the city and the combined rating is 29mpg. The car uses the new Infiniti Direct Response Hybrid System. The system has a one-motor, dual-clutch parallel hybrid design.
The car uses a 7-speed automatic transmission and has a 50kW electric motor paired to the 3.5L V6 engine. Together the hybrid and gasoline motor provide 360hp.
