Fujifilm has debuted a new digital camera that has a cool retro design that reminds me a bit of a Leica camera. The new Fujifilm offering is the X100 and it carries a price that is not for the entry-level shopper at right under $1200.
For the money, you get some nice features in the camera, including the world's first hybrid viewfinder. The viewfinder combines data on the shot from an LCD with an optical viewfinder that has a 0.5x zoom. The camera can shoot in RAW mode and has filters for creative shots. The APS-C CMOS sensor has 12.3MP resolution.
The ISO range for the camera is 200 to 6400 and can be extended to include 100 and 12800 as well. Fujifilm uses a 23mm Fujinon lens that has glass construction and an integrated ND filter and more. The rear LCD is 2.8-inches and the camera will ship in March.
