Ballistic HC Case for iPhone 4 Really Meets MIL-Spec

For a long time now, we have talked about the Ballistic HC case and the fact that the case is military grade protection for your iPhone 4 and the other devices the case is offered for. Ballistic has announced that they have had the case tested and it actually meets MIL-STD 810G.

That standard governs how rugged military hardware must be to survive drops, vibration, extreme temperatures, humidity, and dust. Ballistic isn’t clear about who tested the gear, presumably it was an outside lab.

The case has been available for a long time and has four layers of protection for your iPhone 4. You can buy the case right now for $49.99 at carious retailers and online. “We’re proud to offer a case that meets military specifications,” said Adam Stubin, Vice President of Business Development, Ballistic. “There are a lot of fashion companies out there that attempt to add a rugged case to their case line-up.
