The Mobile World Congress 2011 is over. Our own Robert Evan was at the show and reported from the avalanche of Android Tablets and Android Phones. In the end Apple dominated the tech news world with rumors about the iPhone nano and the app subscription announcement. To top it off, Apple won an MWC 2011 Award for Best Mobile Device, upstage all the Android phones that have been presented at the MWC 2011. Additionally the iPhone 4 is almost a year old!
The MWC judges say about the iPhone 4: "Great screen, sharp design, fantastic materials, and phenomenal ecosystem for app developers. In a tight race, the iPhone 4 built on the success of its predecessors to set the pace for smart phones".
Maybe the Mobile World Congress organizers can hope now that Apple will join them as exhibitor in 2012.
