Apple is expected to release a new iPad one year after it introduced the original iPad in April of 2010. A new report on Bloomberg citing analyst reports indicates a potential delay of the iPad 2 to June.
Update:
New reports say that iPad 2 and iPhone 5 are not delayed.
The reason for the iPad 2 delay are supposed design changes introduced before the Chinese Lunar New Year (Feb. 3). A delay to June would have a rather big negative sales impact in my opinion. The Motorola Xoom goes on sale this week and several other Honeycomb 3.0 Android Tablets are expected to ship in March and April. This would give the new Android Tablets 2-3 month of sales lead.
The new iPad 2 is expected to have a faster CPU, possibly Light Peak connector and FaceTime cameras.
