AOC has announced the launch of a new ultra-slim LED backlit LCD called the Aire Black LED monitor. The screen has a glossy piano black exterior and claims to be one of the thinnest displays available. It will come in several screen sizes including a 20", 22", and 23".
The 20" screen will sell for $129, the 22" will go for $149, and the 23" will sell for $179. They are all available right now at retailers online and in stores including Fry's, Tigerdirect, Best Buy and lots more places.
The screens have 50M:1 dynamic contrast, 5MS response time, and DVI inputs. They consume 15W of power in use and are EPEAT Gold Certified. Standby mode power consumption it only 0.1W and the screens are only half an inch thick.
