Sprint has finally jumped on the Windows Phone 7 handset train and has announced the arrival of its first WinPo 7 device called the HTC Arrive. The smartphone will go on sale March 20 and will set users back $199.99 with a new contract. The price is after a $100 mail in rebate, which means out of pocket upfront costs will be $299.99.
The arrive has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and the display tilts up for easy use. It has all of the other features we know and expect from a WinPo 7 handset like the Live Tiles and more. The screen is a 3.6-inch unit with capacitive touch and multi-touch support.
The smartphone runs a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, has a full HTML web browser, and access to Windows Phone Marketplace. The smartphone will support corporate email and more. It has a 5MP camera with flash and can record 720p video. Internal storage is 16GB and the smartphone has WiFi.
