Android users that have been looking for a new app to let your tablet or smartphone act as a second screen for your computer can now get iDisplay for Android. The app is now in version 1.0 and is available for download on the Android Market for $4.99.
The app supports both Mac and Windows machines and will work on any device running Android 2.1 and up. Using the app you can extend your desktop to your Android device allowing the drag and drop of content from one screen to the other.
The app will also allow you to mirror your desktop on your mobile device as well. Macs must be Intel-based and running OS X 10.5 and up while Windows XP, Vista, and 7 are supported 64-bit Macs aren’t supported.
